Hey presto… ROOF

No roof and then, hey presto… ROOF!
Our first self-spanning folded steel roof. Originally we wanted to use a large span commercial roofing product but it was only available in quantities to suit a mega-petrol station project. Not really suited to this intimate bathroom in Flemington. So we ended up using some custom folded sheets. They will be exposed on the inside and will make a great sound in the rain!

The bathhouse is a re-imagining of the old dunny and shed that it is replacing.
Aesthetically we are channeling Japanese simplicity.
The outside will be a concrete base, black timber cladding and floating “mountains and valleys” roof.
Inside landscape pavers are on the floor, the walls are to be ply lined, with a timber / shoji / fabric screen for privacy and as a centre piece in the room.
