Shoji screen studies

Internal studies for the Japanese bathhouse.
Investigating the composition of timber frame and seat (by builder), shoji screens (by Shoji Screens of Melbourne) and Japanese fabric banners provided by the clients.

Simple internal elevations with a little bit of colour and texture have proved very effective visualisation tools. Originally we dismissed the V end and thought they were better centred, but now leaning towards narrow banners with V end. In a room with only a bath, basin, toilet and screen, the small adjustments will make a big impact.
