Autumn pergola

With the last days of Autumn upon us, why not post photos of one of our favourite pergolas?
Esp when it is in front of the fabulous “house in a shed”.

The main pergola frame shades the main facade and creates a front “verandah” space, while a floating roof provides rain cover to the outdoor table. The little butterfly roof drains, via an oversized gutter, into a concrete pipe “pond”. Other concrete pipe sections form a veggie garden at the edge of the grass.

Set in the bush around Yackandandah, this is not a neat, restrained front yard, it is wild and woolly and shaggy and fun.
