Drawings

As Architects, we use different types of drawings for different tasks, and they bring us many types of delight.

It is hard to beat hand drawings for quickly testing ideas and how things might fit.
They have a charm that is hard to replicate with digital drafting programs.

Stamped drawings offer a different sort of delight.
These say the project can move to the next stage.

These recently endorsed drawings from Heritage Victoria mean stage 1 of a project in the Foy and Gibson building can finally start construction.

And, finally, we’ll include these “drawing” produced by clients:
During a covid-induced hiatus on this project, our clients developed a “magnetic design machine” to help them think through the possibilities.
With the furniture and kitchen elements printed on magnetic sheets and the base drawings fixed to an old oven tray, they could trial different options and arrangements.

Genius!
