It is a steep learning curve, but enjoying getting insight into the community that is growing in this part of the industry. There has been a lot of discussion about how a sealed new extension sits against a leak existing old house.
Using modest materials – with timber where it is easy to look after.
Blind pelmets to north and west glass with “eyebrow” shades to the west doors to give some protection from Melbourne’s drizzle!
Doors and glazing connect the house to the Western rear yard (and future dream shed!). The clients are working with a landscape architect to turn the space to the north into a playful, lush garden (unlike in this model).
